Dayanara

Hello! I’m Dayanara, a music major at SFSU and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I am deeply passionate about reproductive rights and universal sex education that is truly inclusive: designed for everyone and encompassing all identities and romantic relationships.

I believe that sexual and reproductive health rights are essential, especially for youth impacted by the system. We all deserve autonomy over our own bodies and the knowledge to make decisions that help us feel safe and empowered. I am excited to work with the RHEP Youth Advisory Board and use my voice to advocate for the rights of system-impacted youth and ensure we all have the comfort and support we deserve.

Cristopher

Cristopher is a fourth-year student at UCLA majoring in Education and Social Transformation Studies. He serves as the Academic Affairs Commissioner within the Undergraduate Students Association Council, representing over 33,000 students and leading a team of nearly 60 individuals. In this role, he envisioned and established UCLA’s first-ever Interdepartmental Council, creating the infrastructure to enable collaborative departmental policy-making and support the development of advisory groups across the university.
Cristopher is also the founder of the Fostering Connections Mentorship Pilot Program, funded by a $15,000 grant, which pairs undergraduate students with transitional-age foster youth to provide peer-to-peer guidance and support to demystify the college application process.
As a 2026 RHEP Youth Advisory Board member, Cristopher looks forward to applying his research and leadership experience to amplify youth voices, support evidence-based initiatives, and continue advocating for inclusive sexual and reproductive health policies.
Cristopher’s work has been recognized through the UCLA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Student Leadership Award, the Phi Beta Kappa Key into Public Service Scholarship, and the Obama-Chesky Voyager Scholarship, reflecting his commitment to service, leadership, and creating equitable opportunities for all students.
