I am a first-year student majoring in Public Affairs with the goal of pursuing a career in law and policy focused on children. RHEP’s mission of advocating for foster youth’s sexual and reproductive health resonates deeply with my future career goals and personal values.
Sexual and reproductive health is important to me because of its stigmatization, especially in relation to youth. I look forward to creating dialogue around this topic and ensuring that young people have access to the education and resources they need to make informed decisions about their health.
As a member of RHEP’s Youth Advisory Board, I look forward to contributing to efforts that educate and empower foster youth, while also learning from others who share a commitment to improving the lives of young people. I’m excited about the opportunity to engage in educational classes and conferences, and I hope to develop new skills and insights that will help me make a meaningful impact in the field of children’s rights.
