Manifa is a proud former foster youth who uses her voice and her writing skills for advocacy. Manifa’s passion is language studies because, when she was in foster care, she felt like her voice was taken from her. Now, it’s her goal to use her communication skills to uplift others so that foster youth no longer feel powerless. In Manifa’s free time, she enjoys learning languages; she’s currently learning how to read and write in Persian.
