“I’m a mom of 2 first, and an advocate for a better foster care system second! I spent 18 years in the system including EFC and have equally dedicated the last 12 years to speaking up and out against some of the practices in place that affect the next generation of foster youth in our state. I have great pride in my abilities to connect with my peers and draw out some amazing ideas and stories from them and plant the seed of curiosity in their hearts so they too may develop and lead a community into better practices.
“I aspire to raise strong minded, passionate, educated, and empathetic kids to help them navigate this world we live in with strong principles and determination. I hope to one day become someone with a lovely legal profession that helps others that need it in any injustice they may face, just have to finish college first!”
